My dream was cut short. My alarm went off. I woke up. It was April 2019 - the last two months of high school attending college classes. I made my way to campus, parked my car, and started walking towards class. On my way in I ran into the prettiest girl. I honestly can’t remember what happened next, but I will never forget that dream. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long for it to continue – but this time it was real. I was so nervous and shy I didn’t know what to say. “Hi!” she said. “My name is Taylor”. And after that short minute walk to class, I couldn’t take my mind off her. I had fallen in love. It took me a month to build up the courage to finally message her, with the cringiest idea I could think of, but we hit it off. Our first date was on my birthday. Nothing will ever top that date. And five years later I get to marry the love of my life. I am glad I woke up and continued my dream.
